My name is Khaleelah.  I really used to hate that name. Not anymore. Its unique, like moi, and I like that.

I'm a very ambitious person. I want to work for the UN Human Rights Council or Amnesty International one day. Therefore, I plan to be fluent in French and Arabic when I graduate college in 4 years.

I plan on traveling throughout my life, and probably never settling down in one place too long- I'm a fire sign, I crave the change- I need it. I love taking chances, the feeling of not knowing what to expect every morning. If/when I do settle, it will be in either Europe or Seattle.


I am a highly motivated person and vibrate at a very high frequency. I am never idle. Most the time you can catch me writing a poem, short story, an angry letter to some political organization or on behalf of Amnesty, Greenpeace, or PETA,or working on the novel I'm writing, which is loosely about the road trip I took this summer that changed my life. You can also catch me reading- I tend to do that a lot, cleaning (I'm a completely neurotic neat freak), attempting to draw (mostly I can do cartoon characters from Daria), working on singing and dancing (ballet, jazz, tap, pointe), writing and rehearsing monolouges, or excersizing via yoga or jogging. Usually I do all this while listening to music.

I am very open minded, especially when it comes to religions. I take my time to study each and every religion- I am very into Wiccan traditions, but like the one-spirited approach of Eastern Religions. I think I'm mostly Deist, though.

I am basically a loner.
Let me clarify: I like to be alone. This was not always the case. All through high school I was a very social individual, and pretty popular. Being so motivated and energetic, I was the leader of quite a few school organizations, as well as a member of several varsity sports. I burnt out. Now I only do the things I love and can committ fully to- mostly, thats art. I don't mind people- I'm still a social person- but I don't overbook myself or go out as often anymore. I mostly sit at home and work on my artwork.
